It’s one thing to master putting your false lashes on, but, what about caring for your lashes properly so that they stay in their best shape? If you’re wearing our Esqido Mink Lashes, they can be reused over and over again, and we want you to be able to maximize your wear period! Read on for our quick and simple tips on how to care, clean, and how to reuse lashes!
1. Gentle removal from packaging is key
When removing your reusable eyelashes from the tray, only peel them off by the lash band with your fingers or a pair of tweezers, never from the lashes! Otherwise, your lashes could be ripped off of the lash band as mink lashes are made from very fine & thin fur strands.
For more information on what to do after removing the false lashes from the package and how to actually apply your mink lashes, see our blog post, “How to Apply False Eyelashes“.
2. Keep your lashes free from any excess products
A lot of beginners are tempted to put mascara on top of mink lashes after applying them. We recommend that you only apply mascara to your own natural lashes first, wait about 10 seconds for it to dry and then apply your Esqido mink lashes. This will preserve the natural and soft effect of the mink lashes so that they remain in perfect shape for longterm wear!
Pro tip: If you are looking to achieve maximum curl of your mink lashes without being able to apply a coat of mascara, use a lash curler! Our mink lashes are made from 100% real mink fur, which have similar curl holding qualities as human eyelashes.
3. How to remove mink lashes after wear
1. Take a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover (preferably oil free) and dab the band area where the lash band sits on your eye. Wait a few seconds for the glue to dissolve.
2. Push downwards on the lash band with your fingers. If you notice that the band is still resisting when you attempt to push it down, dab the swab with makeup remover once more and rub along the lash band until all the glue dissolves.
3. Try not to peel the lashes off, they should come off effortlessly if the glue has been removed correctly.

4. How to clean mink lashes
This is a step a lot of people forget, but learning how to clean mink lashes is our biggest tip when answering the question, ‘can you reuse fake lashes?’. Make sure you remove the glue completely from the lash band after each wear. You can do this by using a q-tip/cotton swab with oil free makeup remover and rubbing the glue off along the lash band. Glue tends to get very difficult to remove over time if not removed immediately!
Another key tip in learning how to clean your false lashes is refraining from washing/soaking your lashes as water and other chemicals can ruin the natural curl and qualities of mink fur, which will shorten the lifespan of your stunning lashes!
5. How to care for mink lashes
Want another pro tip for how to reuse lashes? Keep your lashes in their best shape by keeping them in their original casing after use (good thing our boxes are super luxe)! This will prevent any dust, dirt or debris from collecting on your lashes.
That’s it! If you make sure to follow these steps every time you’re rocking your mink lashes, you should be able to get a good amount of wears out of them! Know someone who could use some help with caring for their reusable lashes? Share this post!
